Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.

About Me

My Name is Richie, and I have a love of the water, whether it be fishing, swimming, surfing, boating, crabbing, or catching bunker. When I started BunkerBroz I was 10, it was in 2020 right around the pandemic! I was the mindset of wanting to buy my first sport fishing boat. My friend and I wanted to start a fishing YouTube channel, but I didn’t really know what or how to do it, and my friend was only here in the summertime, so it probably was going to be pretty difficult logistically. I wanted to do something, so I talked to my family and thought maybe I could sell T-shirts that I designed.

My whole family has encouraged me. I am 15 now so I can carry more of the responsibility that I did at 10, because lets be honest my attention span wasn’t that great, so with my families help we have really started to grow my business. My grandfather initially loaned me some money to get started and I did pay him back, he has since passed and I miss him so much, but always remembering the values he has taught me. My family has always encourage both my sister, and I to take advantage of where we live and get to grow up. They have passed down generations of knowledge of the water, family life and work ethic. All of my apparels designs are focused around growing up at the beach and having the water surrounding me. I also love pretty much all sports so when I’m not on the water you might catch me on the basketball courts, or riding my bike in Beach Haven with my friends.

The last 5 years have been filled with a lot of learning about the apparel industry and how the pandemic has affected the supply chain and costs of goods. But some pretty cool things have happened too: Jetty brought me in for a tour of their facilities and talk to me about strategies to keep this going, and about growth. We were at several pop up events, and festivals around LBI. Our biggest show each year is the 3 days we are at Marlin Fest during the BHMTC White marlin tournament in August! We have a ton of fun at that event, watching the fish get weight in and meeting all the people that checked out the event. Seeing all of our repeat customers! We will be back next SUMMER and I am so excited!

This year we are working on developing online store for the webpage to make it easier to pick up some cool stuff, we will be adding new merchandise, and will be at several area festivals.

For me it’s not all about the end dollar, so I’m really trying to keep my products affordable.

Most importantly, I have been taught to give when you can, So a portion of my profits will always be donated whether to the Jr Mate Reef Project or sponsoring other local kid organizations.

This year we Sponsored two local youth basketball teams and donated lots of gear for various PTA organizations for their fundraisers.

The best part for me is seeing more and more people in BunkerBroz gear that I sold to them, and learning the ins and outs along side my mom.

Thanks for checking out my page and I hope to see you soon!!
